Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Intelliwav LLC dba Vessor, Bellevue, WA (“Vessor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when a resale shop uses our point-of-sale and inventory platform. It covers both the information we handle as a business and the personal information that shops store in Vessor about their consignors and customers.
1.Our role: controller vs. processor
Privacy law distinguishes between the party that decides why and how personal information is used (a “controller”) and the party that handles it on someone else’s instructions (a “processor”). Vessor plays both roles depending on the data:
- Vessor is the controller of account and billing information about the shop and the people who administer it — for example, the shop owner’s name, email, and login. We use that information to provide, secure, and bill for the service.
- Vessor is a data processor of the personal information a shop stores about its consignors and customers. The shop is the controller of that information; we handle it only on the shop’s instructions and on its behalf, to operate the features the shop uses.
2.You own your data
The inventory records, catalog content, sales history, consignor information, and other data your shop puts into Vessor belong to you. We do not sell Your Data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. You may export Your Data at any time, and you may ask us to delete it, subject to limited retention needed for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
3.Information we handle
We handle the following categories of information:
- Account information — names, email addresses, shop details, and login credentials for the people who administer a shop.
- Shop content — inventory, catalog listings, photos, prices, and sales records the shop enters or imports.
- Consignor and customer information — information a shop stores about its consignors and buyers, which we handle as a processor.
- Usage information — technical logs and product-analytics events that help us keep the service reliable and improve it.
4.Payments and card data
Card payments accepted through Vessor are processed by our payments provider, Stripe. Vessor does not store full card numbers; payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles card details under its own privacy and security practices. We receive limited, non-sensitive payment metadata (such as amounts and payout status) needed to reflect sales in your shop.
5.How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, process transactions, provide support, communicate with you about your account, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. When we act as a processor for consignor information, we use it only to deliver the features the shop has chosen to use.
6.Sharing and service providers
We share information with service providers who help us run Vessor — for example, cloud hosting, our payments provider, and analytics tooling — under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing services to us. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Vessor and its users.
7.Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or de-identify it in the ordinary course, subject to limited retention required for legal, accounting, or security reasons. Specific retention periods are placeholders to be confirmed by counsel.
8.Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach that affects your information, we will act in accordance with applicable law.
9.Your choices and rights
Depending on where you and your consignors are located, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. Because Vessor acts as a processor for consignor information, requests from consignors are generally directed to the shop that controls that information; we will assist the shop in responding as required. The specific rights and how to exercise them are placeholders to be finalized by counsel.
10.Children
Vessor is a business tool intended for shop operators and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11.Governing law
This Policy and our handling of information are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where a different law applies to a particular individual by mandatory operation of law.
12.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
